The 2003 LAEFL season saw 19 teams fight for 12 playoff spots. Mike Turner’s Colts started out fast but ended up in second place to Earl McMillan’s Jaguars in the tough Eastern Division. The Broncos, coached by Dave Campbell, ran away with the Southern Division, while the Panthers (Robert Jackson) did the same with the Central. The Northern Division was a dogfight, with four teams in the hunt until Marcelo Troilo’s Saints finally won it on the last gameday. Although it wasn’t the biggest league in LAEFL history, it was the most consistent, as all 19 teams made it to the end and almost every game was completed.
