The air was cold and the turf was hard at Randall Cunningham Field opening day. Gang Green took the lead early and did not look back. Fred Barnette lead the charge with 3 receiving TDs. Chris Carter had a kick return TD, and Herschel was well, Herschel. The Broad Street Bullies were taking everyones lunch money on this day.

In the ealy game it was much of the same. Rookie coach Leon Norris received his welcome to the league, in our new Cowboys Eagles rivalry. The Cowboys offense did show sparks of life late in the game but it was too little too late. If the Cowboys can put it together for 4qtrs, this rivalry could get interesting
