FALLEN BROTHERS

Johnny Lee Cotson

November 25, 1970 to August 30, 2002.

Johnny was a quiet laid back man with an unforgettable smile. He was a “Joker” as he called himself.  Johnny got involved with electric football (EF) in his teens with a love for his Oakland Raiders.  His other hobbies included drawing whatever interested him, building and racing radio controlled cars.
He joined the Los Angeles Electric Football League (LAEFL) in 2000. He loved EF so much that even after being diagnosed with kidney disease, he would have his dialysis treatment and come to gameday to crack plastic. His zest for life and his love for EF was never ending. When the end did finally come his presence and enthusiasm was and still is missed.
He was taken too soon.
Because of him, the game board most used in the LAEFL championship game is the “Johnny Lee Cotson Field“.
